Your adventure begins with a guided Jeep tour through the Margaree Valley, where your Cape Breton Backcountry Adventures guide shares stories of the region’s rich history, wildlife, fishing culture, and stunning landscapes. Midway through the tour, guests stop at Margaree Maple for a guided walk through the maple grove. Depending on conditions, this may include a short hike or snowshoe through the sugar bush, where you’ll learn how maple syrup is made before enjoying a syrup tasting.
